For embroidery shops
Etsy still puts your shop in front of shoppers already searching there. Broidry runs the business behind whichever channels you sell on, including Etsy.
Send your customer a picture of their exact order, on the garment and in the thread colors they are getting, before you stitch.
Etsy charges $0.20 to list an item, a 6.5% transaction fee on each sale, and a payment processing fee of about 3% + $0.25. Broidry's own fee is 2% of Broidry-processed sales on the free plan and 1.5% on the paid plans ($19, $39, or $79 a month). Standard card processing applies the same anywhere you take cards.
Broidry turns finished orders into posts, package inserts, and review requests, with no ad spend required.
Customers decide faster when they can see their finished piece.
Broidry charges a fee only when you make a sale.
Every order arrives complete, confirmed, and approved before you stitch.
Your supplies, designs, customers, and marketing live in one place.
The table assumes a $50 average order and every customer paying by card, and it counts everything: Etsy's listing, transaction, and payment fees on one side; Broidry's fee, any plan subscription, and standard Stripe card processing (2.9% + 30¢) on the other.
| Sales in a month | Fees on Etsy | On Broidry, Free plan | On Broidry, Shop plan ($39/mo) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $250 (5 orders) | about $26 | about $14 | about $48 |
| $1,000 (20 orders) | about $104 | about $55 | about $74 |
| $3,000 (60 orders) | about $312 | about $165 | about $144 |
At low volume the Free plan is the cheaper Broidry plan. A paid subscription only pays for itself once the fee it removes is bigger than the subscription, which happens around $1,950 a month in Broidry-processed sales for the Shop plan. Etsy's fees pay for Etsy's shoppers, the people already searching there. Most shops run both: Etsy for that traffic, and Broidry for direct orders, where the fees above are lowest.

Keep selling wherever your customers already are. Broidry is the back office behind all of it: the mockups, the quotes, the schedule, the customer book, the marketing, and a shop page that looks like your brand.
The Free plan costs nothing until your first sale, and signing up does not ask for a credit card.
